We are unable to efficiently apply the tools and methodologies of the past decade(s) without significantly compromising the ability to fully characterize and deliver to the potential of novel treatments.
• We aim to learn/ adopt from peer industries and societal trends, seeking for shared and on-demand solutions (akin to Uber, Netflix), rapid product life cycle iterations (e.g. Iphone) and harnessing the collective analytics from the broad spectrum of available data sources (pre-clinical, translational, clinical, RWE, etc.; e.g. SaaS)
• The current biotech model by design is significantly constrained, primarily due to the lack certainty of developmental/ commercial success, protracted development timelines and notable $$ investment (e.g. one drug - one company model) — You can (financially) model for various risk scenarios, but it is difficult/ impossible to model uncertainty especially over long time periods (6-8 years from Preclinical POC to marketing approval)
